caricatures
Read an interesting article by MAD artist Tom Richmond about drawing caricatures. Had to try it right away... still long way ahead!

Quick caricatures
I found some oldish caricatures from my sketch book which I've drawn quickly while watching some movie... fun stuff. It's a mess.
I assume these were drawn while watching some red carpet pictures of famous people. Nevertheless, I don't think Johnny Depp walked there dressed as Sweeney Todd, so it must have been there earlier. :P

Blacksad comic review
From the comic course: we had to draw a comic review with the style of the reviewed comic. I fell in love with Blacksad series in the minute I found them... cute and angry animals in funny places! Plus, I like detective stories and suspenders.

On the Radio
Fruits of the comic course! I'm interested about the idea of creating animation or illustrations to music, and as I'm not that good at creating dialogue, I wanted to make my comic based on some lyrics. I happened to listen to Donna Summer's "No more tears" in the train and I instantly pictured some old ladies listening to the song in the retirement home, bored and dissatisfied with their lives there, and thirsting for some action and romance. The song was too short to end the comic coherently, so I added another of her songs to end things happily.
I guess I wanted to say with the comic that when one really tries to achieve their dreams, although everything wouldn't go as planned, one might ultimately end up with the desired results through other routes. The important thing is to try.

Mother's Day Card
My mom is a huge The King's Singers fan, so I made her a Powerpoint-card where the men start singing to her (mouths moving) when clicked. Buuut she didn't manage to get the sounds to work, so it was kind of pointless when they were just opening their mouths like fishes on a dry land... But she was very pleased with the picture AND with the information that I ordered her their cd which would arrive anyday now.

24 hours comic (2007)
I came across the comic I drew in "24 hours comic"happening in the bookstore Bukra in 2007, where you were supposed to draw 24 pages of comic in 24 hours. Well, I spent only 19 hours, then I had to sleep. The comic is preeetty random and confusing, but that's just my thing. And I really didn't know how to place my frames, seems quite cramped.
Pages from improvisation comic
Found these few pages I've drawn about three years ago for an improvisation comic. When it was my turn to draw, I could never take the storyline very seriously so it usually ended up to be like this... This was my favorite character, can't remember his name unfortunately. Here he has been kidnapped by savages in an unknown island.
